Port Macquarie Adventist School is in many ways like a diamond. It’s small and often hard to find, but once you discover it, the reward is fantastic. Our aim at Port Macquarie Adventist School is not only to provide quality, individualised education but to equip students for the rest of their lives. For many, school is about classes, homework and academic standards. Our focus is to go above and beyond this practical dimension to a higher purpose – assist students in developing a well rounded life, where skills and talents are improved, friendships enjoyed, positive attitudes developed and ultimately establishing Christ centred values, which will inevitably shape their future.

Presently our Maths and English classes have one of the lowest students to teacher ratios around which is better value for you and your child. The schools modern classrooms are equipped with computers and we are currently raising the funds for our second interactive whiteboard to keep abreast of the latest teaching practices.

Our school has exceptional sporting infrastructure with 2 brand new synthetic tennis courts, indoor basket ball stadium and large grassed area for running, soccer or playing football. Our play ground is covered by a generous shade structure with rubberised impact matting in place for our children’s safety.

It is compulsory for all our students from years 3 to 6 to learn an instrument and play in our band with the expert guidance of our Band Director, Jason Heise.

Our students also gain valuable experience with leadership helping out with the organisation and running of our Alphabet Adventure Day. This day includes every letter of the alphabet with a 5 minute activity organised to high light this letter. The event is run over 2 days and there are around 250 3 – 5 yr olds who attend. Our students are able to display their leadership skills and their behaviour is always outstanding.

For more information on the school or to find out about our limited number of bursaries available for kindergarten students next year, please contact our Principal on 65 822271 or 0432 825 200.

Our School Captains this year are Jane Whalen and Elijah Hargraves and our School Principal is Phillip Lillehagen.
